Kowloon

Kowloon is the most plot-heavy of the events and introduces a normally unseen part of the city: crime.

This event two episodes: one that follows a string of disappearances in the city in a series of parts, and one that will address the reason behind your residency in District 14.

Over the past week, a notable increase in reports of individuals that have gone missing has raised alarm among residents. The victims span a wide range of demographics, from young children to senior citizens, with no apparent connection between them. Families of the missing individuals are grappling with fear and anxiety as the district witnesses an unsettling surge in unexplained disappearances.

The case takes a turn for the worse when primary investigator, Holland Fletcher, is found dead outside the police station.

“Crime coefficients were supposed to eliminate the threat of danger. If it fails to do that, then what’s the point!”

District 14, typically known for its bustling streets and vibrant community spirit, now finds itself shrouded in an atmosphere of uncertainty as residents await further updates from the ongoing investigation.

Public Safety Division 3 is the latest unit added to the Ministry of Home Affairs and specifically created to handle the disparity of crime coefficients in the city. Those working in law enforcement are more exposed to scenarios typically known to increase stress. As such, units are small and rotate between active and inactive officers to temper hues.

The death of primary investigator, Holland Fletcher, is an unprecedented setback which threatened the hues and crime coefficients of the other officers.

In an effort to address this concern, Public Safety Division 3 is an experimental unit made up of both low and high crime coefficients.

Detectives (5-7)

For the duration of the event, your OC will act as a detective in Public Safety Division 3. This will be a temporary but official title as your character investigates the case.

This roster will not change, unless something comes up or something has been arranged beforehand.

Citizens

All other characters will continue their role as a citizen in District 14. Their roles and responsibilities will change with every episode. They may be tangentially involved with the ongoing investigation but the final decisions will be left up to the detectives.

This role is suited for people who may only want to participate in one or two mod-hosted episodes. Sign-ups for each episode will be posted a week prior.
