KOWLOON ESTATES

“Hi~!” The voice chirps from the doorway, ten minutes late from when you expected to hear it. “My name is Dio and I’ll be your real estate agent today! Should we look at a few homes?”

Despite being one of the most densely populated places on Earth there is always plenty of residential homes on the market in Yue Song due to the transient nature of its residents. Below are some samples of the homes you can expect to find.

Players may decorate and design their OC’s home. The notes provided are just a suggestion. Participating in this episode is not a requirement.

After reviewing what is available, please fill out the google form and you will be assigned an address!

Roommates

Can be requested on the form, or requested in the rp-request channel.

Addresses

Generally, there will be two locations per Housing-type that participating OCs will be slotted into. It’s not guaranteed that each housing type will have the amenities requested on the form.

Non-participants

Are in charge of their own housing. They can also choose an address once they've been announced.

Other Housing Types

Hotels

Hotels are usually at the $-$$ ranges with matching features and amenities. It is not uncommon for some residents to stay at a hotel for a few months at a time due to work.

Economic Apartments

Some complexes will have private benefactors that screen residents without a crime coefficient check. These places are partially funded by the triad.

Reputable real estate agents who do their research will not show you these listings.

Dio's Housing Shuffle

Dio is new to the real estate game and is known to mix up papers as he tries to juggle between being a real estate agent and an attorney.

For the duration of Event 1, you may choose to have your OC take up a temporary residency elsewhere from their paperwork. Please select that option on the survey after filling out the rest of the form.

At the end of the event, you may have your OC move into the housing they had chosen, have them stay at their current place, or some other option entirely.

LUNAR NEW YEARS

Loiter in the streets of Yue Song with the comfort of knowing you'll be safe among the residents. BIG DATA keeps all of its citizens safe under it's crime coefficient system, addressing crime before it can happen.

One of the main roads in District 14 will be closed for the week of Lunar New Years as shops and organizations set up their booths to peddle their wares and promote their services.

Players can set up their own booth for the festival. Booths will be given their own thread in an event channel that can be used for interactions, organization, mini-games, etc.

The minimum requirement for setting up a booth is submitting a sticker to use on character pages. Providing an extra service on top of the sticker is optional.

Setting up a booth

Commercial enterprises and small-businesses may set up a booth for the festival. You have until FEBRUARY 18 to submit a form.

  • Your business will be listed in the brochure.
  • You’ll get your own thread for the remainder of the event.
  • You will get +6 JP for every unique visitor on top of any service you may provide/rp that occurs in your thread.
  • You must design a sticker/pagedoll for people to place on their character app.

Optional

  • Provide some service (art, writing, etc.) for visiting your booth. Small reminder to work within your means.
  • A booth may have up to (2) volunteers with JP split between players (optional, negotiate with the players).
  • NPCs are allowed in this episode without an app.
